Last night Max was awarded the "Arrow of Light". It is the highest award you can earn in the Cub Scout program. Congratulations to Max! Next he moves onto Boy Scouts and all the adventures that lie ahead. Rumor has it we have a winter camp out next month, I am not so sure yet about that, we'll have to see.
This picture is a neat "test" that they did. They each had a piece of rope, and tied one end to the person next to them. In order for it to work, they had to work together and "trust" that the other person did theirs correctly. In order to test it, they all lean back and see if the knots hold. And they did!

ReplyDeleteI think we'll be doing an Arrow of Light here in about a month. Good luck in Boy Scouts! The winter camp here would feel like the bahamas compared to your winter camp. Good luck with that. It is at these times I know why I'm a girl. ;o)
